Why men’s fashion is on the rise

Fashion week, typically thought of as a display of the latest lines of female focussed fashion in New York, London and Paris is having a renaissance.

Whilst fashion in recent years has mainly been presented as an artform and worn by only the slimmest, tallest, most striking of women, there is no shortage of men involved in the process. So it isn’t wholly unexpected to see men’s fashion be given the time of day it so rightly deserves.

The rise in male fashion is most likely to be credited to the recent shift in collective cultural attitudes towards the idea of gender. That and it is now considered socially acceptable for men to take pride in their appearance.
