Did you know stress and weight are linked?

According to the University of Gothenburg, after conducting a study involving over 3,800 women, women are predisposed to gain weight when stressed. So if your job is super stressful, that could be a reason why you’re struggling with those extra few pounds. And no, the same doesn’t apply to men sadly.

The study was conducted over a 20 year period and investigated the links between body weight and demands and control at work. According to Sofia Klingberg, the study’s lead author, access to education, lifestyle and dietary choices did not explain the findings of the study.
