If you’re trying to conceive, how many of these faux pas are you aware of?

•Check your weight. If you’re significantly over or underweight, it can reduce your chances of conceiving.

•Eat a balanced diet. This is a diet that contains the essential vitamins: folic acid (for the baby) and B vitamins (important for both ovulation and foetal development).

•Avoid Vitamin A.

•Cut down or avoid swordfish, shark and marlin and eat no more than two tuna steaks a week.

•Quit smoking and reduce alcohol intake.
