Keeping small people amused doesn’t have to cost the earth:
1. Play make believe. Kids have the most vivid imaginations, so harness their creativity. Sail the open seas in your back garden or conquer kingdoms in an indoor pillow fort.
2. Go to the library. Encourage your kid to read and feed their imagination with the world of stories they can find there.
3. Make pavement art. Invest in some chalk and let the kids run wild outside, all it takes is a quick rain shower and the slate is wiped clean again.
