We all know vitamin C is beneficial for our bods and immune systems, but it also has a positive effect on our skin.
When it comes to complexions, it helps defend against pollution and cellular- oxidisation. The damage to cells by free radicals — triggered by the UV radiation in sunlight and pollution, among other things — causes signs of ageing, like lines and dehydrated skin.
