How to get through flu-season
If you have kids then you’ll know what walking petri dishes of germs they are. Here are our top tips to get through flu season relatively intact.
- Get a flu shot. Yes it’s not 100% effective, but it is better than not having it.
- Wash everyone’s hands. A lot. Lather up with soap and water and scrub for 20 seconds. And then use antibacterial gel with alcohol for an extra boost.
- Stick to bedtimes. Sleep is the best thing you can give your immune system.
- Eat healthily. Increase your fibre intake and reduce your sugar consumption. It all helps to combat inflammation in your body, meaning your immune system can concentrate on combating the real evils: the flu bugs.
