How to get ahead on work when you’re behind

Everyone wishes there were more hours in the day, but actually there is more time, if you just know where to look.

  1. Wake up earlier. Discover an extra hour before work. Get up and make a to do list for your day ahead. Schedule your biggest priorities for the morning thereby leaving yourself more flexibility for unexpected surprises or over runs.
  2. Maximise your commute. Listen to an educational podcast, read an industry specific journal, send emails before you hit the office. Get ahead whilst you’re getting to work.
  3. Don’t wait on hold. Put the phone on handsfree and carry on with your day whilst you wait. Create templates for common email responses to save even more time.
