Get more mileage out of yours:
- Store them correctly. Don’t store bananas with other fruit and veg as they create their own gases that cause everything around them to ripen. Keep them at room temperature.
- Use them as they’re ready. Unripe green bananas can be sliced and cooked. Soft, over ripe bananas are superb in baking.
- For ripe and over ripe bananas, either eat them up or slice them and freeze them for instant cold smoothies or whipped up into nice cream (dairy free instant ice cream).
