How to maintain healthy mind-set whilst social distancing

It’s more important than ever that we fill our minds with positivity to get us through these times. It is inevitable that some days will be tougher than others and you will have to find ways to keep going. But I thought I would put together some ideas that I think will help:

  1. Health is wealth

I don’t know about you, but I have been craving health. Don’t get me wrong, there have been days where I completely demolish a pizza and if that’s what makes you happy in the moment then do it!

  1. Music

I have found myself being able to listen to a lot more music recently. Being able to enjoy it and actually listen, playing it out loud and having a good old dance around the house has helped even on the no-so positive days.

  1. Exercise

This is something that is written everywhere right now. The importance of moving when we are so restricted to do so. But it has definitely been something I have grown to love; going for long walks in nearby parks and forests has allowed me to appreciate my surroundings a bit more.

Zoom

I think ‘Zoom’ is one of the words that would be used to describe this period of time. Whether you’re using it to have a casual chat with your family or setting up a weekly quiz. It has never been more important to stay in touch.
