Before you fall head over heels with the first property you see, you have to gather all the facts:
1. How long has the house been on the market? If it’s over 6 months, question why it’s not sold.
2. Is the property listed or in a conservation area? If yes, this will make doing improvements slightly more tricky, not impossible, just a little challenging.
3. How long have the owners lived there? Why are they moving? Will their reasons become your reasons?
