Staring at a screen all day can have a detrimental effect on your health, both physical and mental, and if you aren’t aware, computer vision syndrome is a real thing, people.

Computer vision syndrome is a result of staring at screens: laptops, computers, ipads and phones for a long period of time. And this is sadly becoming the norm and is unavoidable for most of us nowadays. So help protect yourself with these quick tips.

  • Follow the 20-20-20 rule. Every twenty minutes, gaze at something 20 feet away from you for 20 seconds.
  • Don’t allow reflections on your screen.
  • Keep the screen an arm’s length away.
