Home is the new Gym
With the gyms closed at the moment, we have all had to adapt with our homes being the new gym. Despite everything going on, it is still important to keep our bodies moving, not only helping with our mental health but also our physical health. So here are a couple of things we can do at home:
- Body weighted exercises
Never underestimated the effectiveness of body weighted exercises. Movements that you would usually use weights for try increasing the reps and solely use body weight
- Resistance Band workouts
Resistance bands are great for strengthening and would be a great addition to your workout routine.
- Get outside
Take your workout outside, whether that is running or walking and make use of the warmer weather coming.
