Three ways to reduce your plastic consumption
Scientist are developing plastic eating bacteria to reduce the decomposition time of plastic from hundreds of years to mere days. But in the meantime, we can all do our bit to lessen the weight of plastic our planet has to endure. How?
1. Avoid plastic water bottles. Invest in a reusable water bottle – tap water is cleaner than bottled water anyway.
2. Shop in bulk to reduce packaging and refuse to take the items wrapped in plastic home from the supermarket. Leave them at the checkout for the supermarket to deal with.
3. Embrace baking soda and vinegar – they are your new cleaning products.
