How to eat consciously

Living in the moment is harder than it sounds. So concentrating on doing something that is so natural, takes time to master.

  1. Before you tuck in, take a moment to appreciate what you have and issue gratitude for how it came to be on your plate.
  2. Chew your food. Not only does chewing start breaking the food down to better enable digestion, but you’ll start to notice things about the food that you would otherwise have missed, such as texture or taste.
  3. Make eating a sacred event. Don’t eat on the run or in front of hte TV. Make eating a time for relaxation, for you.
