How to get motivated to exercise in the winter
Getting out of bed in the morning to train is tough enough without the added unpleasantness of the cold, wet and dark. But you know how important working out is for both your body and mind; use these tips to stay motivated to exercise in winter:
- Invest in lightweight workout clothing. Layers you can add or remove as you get warmer, or as you’re cooling down.
- Book a class or exercise with a friend. Having someone hold you to account will get you out of the door.
- Take a before photo and use it as motivation to keep you going; you can track real time body changes.
